Can I change storage tiers at any time without downtime?

Yes, you can migrate between storage tiers at any time without downtime, however there are a few caveats:

• Migration between ioSTOR-250 (and higher) and any other tier will become effective immediately.
• Migration from ioSTOR-100 (Archive Tier) to any other tier will take much longer due to the speed of the slower storage. Your VM storage performance may be affected during the migration process so schedule it out of a peak period.
