Assigning a Private IP to a VM
If you miss assigning a Private IP to your VM during the creation you can still do so after the fact.
1. Select the VM and VM Details.
2. Under Hardware , scroll to the NICs section and click on the Edit button.
From EDIT you can change current adapter settings or add a new adapter
3. Add New Adapter
Complete the following under NEW or Current Adapter
- Primary Nic ( If there is more than 1 adapter, select your preference )
- Connected ( Connected to the Network )
- Adapter Type ( Depending on the OS )
- Network ( Network Located in the vApp that you want the VM to be connected to )
- IP Mode ( Depending on what you want to do but will mostly be under Static IP Pool or Static Manual )
