What has been sold to Zettagrid?

Adisyn have sold the DC Two cloud infrastructure business to Zettagrid. This includes VMware hosting, backup, disaster recovery, internet and voice services. Adisyn is focusing on Managed and Cyber Security Services.

Are Zettagrid experienced in providing cloud?

Yes, we have been providing VMware cloud, backup and disaster recovery since 2010 and have one of the most automated self service cloud platforms in Australia. Zettagrid operates the largest privately owned VMware IaaS platform in Australia.

Our origins are as Highway 1 which started in 1996, which was one of the original internet providers in Perth.

Who owns and manages Zettagrid?

Zettagrid is privately owned with majority shareholding by our CEO, Nathan Harman, who is based in Perth. Zettagrid's management team are based in Perth.

When is the change effective?

1-May-2024.

Pricing and Sales

Will the pricing of the current service change?

No, pricing and discounts of current services will remain the same.

Will I get a Zettagrid account manager?

Yes, customers will be assigned a local (Perth based) account manager.

How do I obtain pricing for a new service?

Contact sales@zettagrid.com or the assigned account manager.

Support

Do I continue to use the existing DC Two Cloud Director/Veeam/Other portals?

Yes, continue to use these technical portals. Once services have been migrated into Zettagrid, these portals will be decommissioned. We will provide further information as the project progresses but will provide ample notice.

How do I change an existing service?

Contact support@zettagrid.com if you want to change your service. Once Zettagrid has migrated your service to our platform you will be able to perform many cloud actions yourself (upgrade RAM/CPU/Storage/Backup/DR, Cancel etc).

Does the support email change?

Yes, over the first two weeks we will transitioning from support@dctwo.com.au to support@zettagrid.com. Customers may contact either email address. support@zettagrid.com will become the sole email in the future.

What phone number do I call for sales or support?

Call the Zettagrid number: 1300 597 656.

Does after hours support remain?

Yes, Zettagrid have 24x7 on call engineering support.

If I have a Managed IT Services Agreement with Adisyn, does this change?

No, please contact Adisyn for Managed IT Services.

Billing

Who will issue my May invoice?

Zettagrid Pty Ltd.

When will the next invoice be issued?

Zettagrid will issue an invoice between 6th and 10th May 2024.

What are the new bank details?

The bank details are listed on the Zettagrid invoice.

Will the payment terms change?

No.

I have a pre-May invoice, where do I pay this?

For all services delivered before 1-May-2024 please pay into the existing Adisyn / DC Two bank account. For services from 1-May-2024 please pay to the bank listed on your Zettagrid invoice.

What if I accidentally pay into the Adisyn bank after 1-May?

Please inform support@zettagrid.com

Migration

Will my services be moved into Zettagrid data centres?

Yes, there will be a staged migration from the Bibra Lake data centre into NextDC P1 and P2

Will there be downtime for my service?

The goal is to complete the migration live with little or no downtime to customer services

Will my allocated IP addresses remain the same?

Yes, there are no expected changes to IP addresses

Where are the Zettagrid data centres?

In Perth, NextDC P1, NextDC P2 and Vocus Bennett St. Zettagrid also has data centres in all other major capitals.

Will there be a new customer portal?

DC TWO customers will get a new account on Zettagrid My Account which will enable the self service of cloud subscriptions.

  • Customers will be able to provision new services as soon as they have access to the portal.

  • It will take 8-12 weeks to transition customer's existing services to the Zettagrid portal. The portal is https://account.zettagrid.com. The pre-requisite for access to the portal is the migration of the customer VMs into the Zettagrid data centre. Once this is complete, the Zettagrid development team will connect existing subscriptions to Zettagrid automation.

Will new passwords be issued for VMware Cloud Director?

Yes, we will be issuing new passwords for VMware (and likely Veeam) services. These changes will be co-ordinated with the customer as they are scheduled to be migrated from DC TWO’s VMware environment into Zettagrid.

Will I get self service automation for my cloud services once they are migrated into Zettagrid.

Yes, the major cloud services of VDC (RAM, CPU, Storage), Veeam Backup, Zerto DR and licensing will be self service (Create, Cancel, Upgrade, Downgrade). Some auxiliary services like Office365, Wasabi are not automated or self service.

What is going to happen with the Darwin data centre?

Darwin will become a new Zettagrid zone. The hardware and software will be upgraded to become consistent with a Zettagrid availability zone.
