The VMWare Cloud Director portal lets you manage your Virtual Data Centre, including its VMs, network, firewall, vCloud Availability replication, and VDC Backups.

Access vCloud via MyAccount or directly through the vCloud Director Portal URL for your availability zone.

Accessing Cloud Director Portal from MyAccount

1. Log in to MyAccount:

   • Global (except Indonesia): https://account.zettagrid.com/

   • Indonesia: https://account.zettagrid.id/

2. Click “My Services” in top menu

3. Click the Service ID of your Virtual Data Centre subscription (or VDC Backup).

4. You can integrate MyAccount and Cloud Director with SSO, if you prefer to to use a password:

   1. View the username in the “Cloud Director” and/or click the clipboard icon to copy the username to your clipboard.

   2. If you don’t know your Cloud Director password, you can reset it by clicking the “Padlock” icon.

5. Open

   

   A new tab will open with the Cloud director portal for your availability Zone.

6. Select a Data Centre or a menu option to see the information you require.

   • For VDC Backup or vCloud Availability choose these options from the “More” menu item in top menu.

Accessing Cloud Director Portal Directly

To access the Cloud Director portal directly, gather the required information and visit your zone's Cloud Director Portal URL.

Preparation

1. Obtain your Cloud Director username. You can get this from MyAccount as described above or by contacting Zettagrid support and authenticating yourself. It will normally by in the form “cloud123456”

2. Obtain your Cloud Director organisation name. You can see your vCloud organisation ID in the URL when you click “Login to Cloud Director” as described above or you can contact Zettagrid support. This is usually “Org_” followed by your Cloud Director username - e.g. “Org_cloud1213456”.

Access Cloud Director Portal

1. Make sure you have your Cloud Director organisation ID, username, and password.

2. Browse to the Cloud Director Portal URL for your zone as per the list below.

3. Enter your Cloud Director Organisation ID when prompted.

4. Enter your Cloud Director Username and Password.

5. Select a Data Centre or a menu option to see the information you require.

   • For VDC Backup or Cloud Director Availability choose these options from the “More” menu item in top menu.

Alternative Method

Alternatively you can copy and/or bookmark the URL including your Organisation ID when you click “Login to vCloud Director” as described above. This URL should be of the form “…/tenant/{organisationID}”. Using this URL will pre-populate your Organisation ID and you can skip to Step 4 above in Access Cloud Director Portal.
