Virtual Machine Password
To get/reset the Virtual Machine Administrator/Root Password follow these simple steps:
1. Go to your vCloud Director Portal.
2. Right click the required VM and select Details.
3. Then go to Guest OS Customization. The dafault password will be displayed upon opening 'Edit'.
Note: You must tick 'Enable guest customization' to allow changes to the other settings.
Note: IMPORTANT! If you are resetting the password for a live machine, please ensure Change SID is disabled. Failure to do so will likely result in the machine being syspreped
