Uploading Media / Software in Zettagrid

We can upload customer requested image files for both VDC and VPS services.

Important notes below:

  • Customers with a VDC can upload Images themselves through Cloud Director into their catalogue, they will need adequate storage space to accommodate the Image.

  • Customers with a VPS will need to email Support to have the Image uploaded to the data-store and mounted to the VPS. Make sure once the customer has finished to delete the image from our server.

  • Images must be a .ISO extension. .WMI and other extensions are not supported.

  • We will not allow desktop variants of any OS unless prior licensing approval is granted. If these VMs are found they will be deleted without prior warning.

  • Microsoft Images need to be our Images for licensing purposes. Microsoft products that are EOL (End Of Life) are not supported and we cannot provide Images or licenses.

  • Linux distributions can be supplied by us but is limited to what is already in the data-store, If a customer wants a specific distro/version they can provide a link and we will import to their catalogue.
