How is VMware Cloud Director Availability replication Charged?

VMware Cloud Director Availability (VCDA - previously known as VMWare Cloud Availability - VCAV) is configured as an add-on to your Virtual Data Centre (VDC).

• There is a per-VM Licence charge for each VM that is replicated into your VDC
• Storage used by replicated VMs is charged as normal for a VDC.
• CPU and RAM are charged as normal for a VDC.  You would probably want to increase these resources if you fail over to your VDC.

If you start replicating further VMs our billing system will audit your service and update your VM DR Replication License charge and notify you by email.
