Connect an ISO to a Virtual Machine

Method 1 - Attach an ISO located in your Organizations Catalog (recommended)
Ensure the media is stored in a Catalog under your organization (not a Public Catalog). 
NB: If there is media in a Public Catalog you wish to mount, then the ISO must first be copied to an Organization Catalog.

  1. Click My Cloud from the top navigation bar
  2. Click on VMs from the left hand menu
  3. Right click the VM you wish to mount the media
  4. Select Insert CD/DVD
  5. Select the media from your catalog
  6. Click Insert

The will mount and shortly be available in your VM.

Method 2 - Attach an ISO located on your local machine

  1. Open the VM Console (click on the VM screen icon in vCloud)
  2. From the Devices menu in the console window, select CD/DVD Drive
  3. Select either the local disk drive, or the ISO image you wish to connect
