Will my ADSL2+ modem work with the NBN?

Your modem compatibility will depend on the technology used to deliver the NBN service to you and the modem that you currently have however we do find that in most cases a new modem will be required. We provide several modem options during the signup process. 

  • Fibre To The Premise (FTTP) requires a WAN port.
  • Fibre To The Node (FTTN) requires VDSL functionality.
  • Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) requires a WAN port.
