Configuring a Network using the vCloud Director Portal

You can configure all network config through vCloud Director Portal. 

Using the vCloud Director (HTML5)

1. Go to your Service DC and navigate to Overview tab. 

2. Click the Manage link. This will direct you to the vCloud Director HTML5 portal.

3. Find and open your service (DC_xxxxxxx)

4. Navigate to Networking > Networks then click ADD

Open

5. A new window for the new organization VDC network will show. Complete the form as required

At this point the network has been created but will not be a selectable network to VM's within a vApp.

To add the network to the vApp:

1. Navigate to your vApp under Compute > vApps and open the Details of the vApp

2. Once open, select Networks then New

Open

3. From this window. You'll be able to add an existing network or create a new network at a vApp level.

Now that the network has been added to the vApp, the network will be available as a selectable network for your VM.
