The VMWare Cloud Director portal gives you access to manage your Virtual Data Centre as well as its VMs, network configuration, firewall, vCloud Availability replication, and VDC Backups.

You can access vCloud from MyAccount or directly via the vCloud director Portal URL for your availability zone.

Accessing Cloud Director Portal from MyAccount

1. Log in to MyAccount:

   • Australia or Singapore: https://account.zettagrid.com/

   • Indonesia: https://account.zettagrid.id/

2. Click “My Services” in top menu

3. Click the Service ID of your Virtual Data Centre subscription (or VDC Backup).

4. View the username in the “Cloud Director” and/or click the clipboard icon to copy the username to your clipboard.

5. If you don’t know your Cloud Director password, you can reset it by clicking the “Manage” button and then “Reset Cloud Director Password”

6. Click the “Manage” button and choose “Login to Cloud Director”

7. A new tab will open with the Cloud director portal for your availability Zone.

8. Select a Data Centre or a menu option to see the information you require.

   • For VDC Backup or vCloud Availability choose these options from the “More” menu item in top menu.

Accessing Cloud Director Portal directly

If you want to access the Cloud Director portal directly you can do so as below by gathering the required information and visiting the Cloud Director Portal URL for your zone.

Preparation

1. Obtain your vCloud username. You can get this from MyAccount as described above or by contacting Zettagrid support and authenticating yourself. It will normally by in the form “cloud123456”

2. Obtain your vCloud organisation name. You can see your vCloud organisation ID in the URL when you click “Login to vCloud Director” as described above. This is usually “Org_” followed by your vcloud username - e.g. “Org_cloud1213456”.

Access vCloud Portal

1. Make sure you have your vCloud organisation ID, username, and password.

2. Browse to the vCloud Portal URL for your zone as per the list below.

3. Enter your Cloud Director Organisation ID when prompted.

4. Enter your Cloud Director Username and Password.

5. Select a Data Centre or a menu option to see the information you require.

   • For VDC Backup or vCloud Availability choose these options from the “More” menu item in top menu.

Alternative Method

Alternatively you can copy and/or bookmark the URL including your Organisation ID when you click “Login to vCloud Director” as described above. This URL should be of the form “…/tenant/{organisationID}”. Using this URL will pre-populate your Organisation ID and you can skip to Step 4 above in Access vCloud Portal.
