1. The Agreement 

The Parties 

Zettagrid and the Customer (an entity subscribing to Zettagrid cloud services) agree that by accessing Zettagrid cloud services, you ("The Customer", "you", "your") accept the terms and conditions in the Standard Form of Agreement.

The Zettagrid Service Description details specific terms for each Zettagrid offering. It forms part of our Standard Form of Agreement (SFOA), which includes:

2. Service Description 

What is NBN Standard (TC-4)?

NBN Standard (TC-4) is a broadband service using the National Broadband Network. TC-4 supports general internet and standard data services with these features:

Multiple access technologies

Data traffic access via Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), Fibre to the Basement (FTTB), Fibre to the Node (FTTN), Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) and Fixed Wireless (FW).

Asymmetrical wholesale download and upload speeds

For standard internet use and low-priority applications, this reflects a typical experience for your staff and customers.

A “best effort” service

Your download and upload speeds show the Peak Information Rate (PIR)—the maximum speed on an uncongested network. Actual speeds vary by access technology and Zettagrid.

Telecommunications Installation

The installation of the Product may require telecoms infrastructure to your premises.

The connection fee associated with the service includes the installation of the Product up to the Network Termination Device (NTD). Any additional cost associated with install after the NTD must be paid by the customer. This includes internal house phone wiring.

Where you have chosen a free setup for the Product, you will have waived specific Customer Service Guarantee (CSG) Rights. Please see the General Terms for the specific rights you will waive.

CPE Installation and Equipment Supply

We may provide CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) in the form of a modem or router. Zettagrid may pre-configure a supplied device with your connection information.

We will not be liable for issues as a result of us supplying this equipment to you. Zettagrid will provide reasonable phone support to enable you to install and connect to Zettagrid using this device.

Where you have supplied your own CPE, Zettagrid is not obliged to supply support for the configuration of this equipment. Zettagrid will provide the generic network settings to you in order for you to configure the appropriate CPE.

You may choose to have a Zettagrid technician provide onsite support to install and configure your CPE. This will be charged at an hourly rate in addition to your setup and monthly fees.

Connection Speeds

The Product will connect at the speed specified in your plan. We cannot guarantee that you will receive a certain speed to a specific internet resource, like a website, email, video, game server etc. Speeds is typically affected by:

a) The capacity and current load of the server or website you are accessing.

b) The congestion on the network backhaul.

Monthly Use

Your monthly use is measured in megabytes.

The product offers unlimited download and upload quota, subject to the Fair Use and Acceptable Use Policy.

Bundled services include your monthly phone line rental.

Shaping

Shaping restricts (slows) traffic to the product. Zettagrid may implement shaping if you breach the Fair Use or Acceptable Use Policy.

Hardware 

The Network Termination Device (NTD) and any other hardware supplied by Zettagrid or its partners remain their property and must be returned at contract end.

Payment

Payment for the product is required in advance.

Telephone calls are charged monthly in arrears.

Target Service Level

There are no SLAs or performance guarantees during the trial period. Zettagrid, depending on NBN Co's support, will use reasonable endeavours to address all support requests.

Restoration Target

None

Service Level Rebates

No service level rebates apply to NBN Standard TC-4 plans.

Contract Term

NBN services are provided on a month-to-month contract with a 30-day cancellation notice.
