Zettagrid and the Customer (an entity subscribing to Zettagrid cloud services) agree that by accessing Zettagrid cloud services, you ("The Customer", "you", "your") accept the terms and conditions in the Standard Form of Agreement.

What is Mobile Broadband Aggregate Data service?

Mobile broadband provides wireless high-speed internet via a portable modem, phone, or device. Network standards include 4G, WiMAX, LTE UMTS/HSDPA, EV-DO, and some portable satellite systems. (Credit Wikipedia)

Zettagrid offers Mobile Broadband on the Optus 4G Plus network, with fallback to HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM when high-speed networks are unavailable. This service complements fixed-line NBN or fibre; it does not replace these.

A Mobile Broadband Aggregate Data Service pools data quotas from subscriptions to share among all. For example, 25 × 10GB subscriptions combine for a 250GB monthly data pool.

A minimum of 25 services is required to qualify for Aggregate Data plans.

4G Mobile Broadband speeds depend on location and drop significantly on EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks.

Download speeds and latency vary with signal strength, network congestion, and the internet resource's delivery speed.

Zettagrid tracks your pooled data usage but not the websites or networks you access. We recommend installing your own monitoring tools to track network use.

Zettagrid cannot guarantee consistent signal strength, connection, or download speed.

This is a data-only service. Voice calls and SMS messages are not supported.

Telecommunications Installation

Mobile Broadband installation requires no specific equipment.

An antenna may be needed to improve signal strength.

CPE Installation and Equipment Supply

We may provide Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) such as a modem, pre-configured with your connection details.

We supply a SIM to connect to the mobile network. Other SIMs or mobile numbers cannot be used.

We are not liable for issues from supplied equipment. Zettagrid offers reasonable phone support to help you install and connect using this device.

For Huawei E8372 USB Modem users, a USB-compatible computer or network device is required.

If you supply your own CPE, Zettagrid is not obliged to support its configuration but will provide generic network settings.

You may hire a Zettagrid technician for onsite CPE installation and configuration at an hourly rate, in addition to setup and monthly fees.

Connection Speeds

Mobile Broadband connects to the 4G Optus network. We cannot guarantee specific speeds. Speed depends on:

a) Signal strength based on your location and distance from the cell tower.

b) Capacity of the cell tower you connect to.

c) Your hardware, especially the modem.

d) Capacity and load of the server or website you access.

Monthly Use

Your monthly use is measured in Megabytes.

Each service has an allocated monthly quota which is aggregated into a data pool. All data expires at the end of each calendar month.

Both Downloads and Uploads are counted in your monthly data aggregated quota.

Zettagrid will send you usage notifications to your primary account email address when you reach 50%, 85% and 100% of your allocated monthly aggregated data quota.

Notifications may be delayed by up to 48 hours.

When you have reached your monthly aggregated quota, you will be charged and excess rate per MB.

Plan change requests will only come into effect at the next billing period.

Your data allowance is reset on the 1st day of the calendar month.

Payment

Payment for the Mobile Broadband Aggregated Data service is required in advance.

Contract Term

We provide Mobile Broadband Aggregate Data services on month to month contract terms with 30 days cancellation policy. These terms are specific to the type of service we deliver to you.

Services can be closed with 30 days notice however your total number of active Mobile Broadband Aggregate Data services may not fall below 25 subscriptions.
