1. The Agreement
The Parties
Zettagrid and the Customer (an entity subscribing to Zettagrid cloud services) agree that by accessing Zettagrid cloud services, you ("The Customer", "you", "your") accept the terms and conditions in the Standard Form of Agreement.
What is a Service Description?
The Zettagrid Service Description details specific terms for each Zettagrid offering. It forms part of our Standard Form of Agreement (SFOA), which includes:

2. Service Description
What is IP Transit?
IP Transit, or Internet Transit, connects a service to Zettagrid’s internet peers.
Delivery
The service is delivered as Ethernet with one or more routable internet addresses. It typically accompanies a base service such as Metro Ethernet, Fibre, hosting, or colocation.
Measurement
Unlimited PIPE – customer purchases a per Mbit service measured in Mbit (Mb).
Data Quota – customer buys a “data block” bundled within the service (e.g. colocation) or standalone. Upon reaching the quota, excess charges apply per unit. Measured in Megabytes (MB) or Gigabytes (GB).
Contention
Unlimited PIPE services have 1:1 or 1:4 contention ratios. This ratio guarantees transit contention to our internet peers, not within the Zettagrid network or customer endpoints.
Data Quota services have no contention guarantee.
Routes and latency
Zettagrid cannot guarantee specific traffic routes or latency once customer traffic leaves our network.
IPv4 and IPv6
This service supports IPv4 or IPv6.
BGP Peers
Customers with their own IP space and AS number may peer with Zettagrid. They must prove direct ownership of the advertised IP space and AS number and manage their BGP configuration.

Service Level Rebates
The IP Transit service rebate is specified in your contract. If not stated, the following rebates apply when the service is unavailable, per the General Terms and Conditions.
Service unavailability (protected) | Service rebate (protected) |
Up to 30 minutes per calendar month. | No rebate available |
More than 30 minutes but less than 2 hours during a calendar month. | 10% of the monthly service charge |
More than 2 hours but less than 4 hours during a calendar month. | 20% of the monthly service charge |
More than 4 hours but less than 8 hours during a calendar month. | 30% of the monthly service charge |
More than 8 hours during a calendar month | 50% of the monthly service charge |
If IP transit is part of another service, only its monthly value proportion calculates any service rebate.
Contract Term
The contract term is in your service contract. If not stated, the minimum term is 12 months.
Canceling or moving the service within the term incurs an Early Termination Fee, detailed in the General Terms and Conditions.
