1. The Agreement 

The Parties 

Zettagrid and the Customer (an entity subscribing to Zettagrid cloud services) agree that by accessing Zettagrid cloud services, you ("The Customer", "you", "your") accept the terms and conditions in the Standard Form of Agreement.

The Zettagrid Service Description details specific terms for each Zettagrid offering. It forms part of our Standard Form of Agreement (SFOA), which includes:

2. Service Description 

What is Veeam Replication? 

Zettagrid Veeam Cloud Connect Replication (Veeam Replication) is an image-based replication service that supports your disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

Zettagrid’s Veeam Replication service charges monthly fees for license, storage, and network. RAM, CPU, and Internet traffic charges apply only when VMs fail over to Zettagrid. Both test and live failovers incur charges.

Zettagrid’s Veeam Replication requires Veeam Backup and Replication software installed in your local environment. This software is not included in the service fees.

Responsibilities 

Veeam Replication does not replace a full disaster recovery plan. You must develop and provide your own DR plan.

We recommend that trained technical staff implement and maintain the Veeam Replication solution. If you lack technical staff, Zettagrid can recommend a certified IT integrator to manage it for you. The table below outlines basic responsibilities.

Please note that Veeam Replication does not include Zettagrid support for test failover or failback.

Failover Testing 

Failover Testing and Live Failovers are chargeable services. After any failover, you will be charged a daily rate for resources allocated to the failed-over environment, including CPU, RAM, storage, internet data, licensing, and networks.

Recovery Time Objective

Zettagrid does not guarantee this service's RTO. We recommend failover testing to determine its suitability.

Data Corruption 

Veeam Backup and Replication snapshots your virtual machine and copies it to the Zettagrid environment. If the source virtual machine (server or desktop) is corrupted or misconfigured, that version will be restored. You remain responsible for your virtual machines' correct version and configuration.

Data Retention Upon Cancellation 

After service cancellation, the Veeam Replication environment becomes unavailable. Data will be destroyed within 30 days.

IP Addressing

Your service receives one or more IP addresses. These remain Zettagrid property and cannot be transferred outside the network.
