The Parties 

Zettagrid and the Customer (an entity subscribing to Zettagrid cloud services) agree that by accessing Zettagrid cloud services, you ("The Customer", "you", "your") accept the terms and conditions in the Standard Form of Agreement.

The Zettagrid Service Description details specific terms for each Zettagrid offering. It forms part of our Standard Form of Agreement (SFOA), which includes:

2. Service Description 

What is an VDC Backup? 

Zettagrid VDC Backup is an agent-less, image-based (snapshot) backup service for your virtual appliances and file systems. It lets you back up your Zettagrid virtual appliances (VMs) to an offsite location and restore a VM to a chosen point if needed.

You can order this service from the website, selecting which VMs to protect, the backup window, and how many backups to keep. To restore a VM, use the “My Account” portal.

Image Restorations

You must perform restorations via the MyAccount portal, accepting full responsibility for restoring the snapshot over your existing virtual appliance or file system.

If you require Zettagrid to restore on your behalf, we will charge for this service. You must provide a written request from an authorised representative.

Data Corruption

Zettagrid VDC Backup copies your virtual appliance exactly. If the source backup is corrupted or misconfigured, the restored snapshot will reflect that. You are responsible for snapshotting an appropriate version and securing access to your snapshots.

Data Retention Upon Cancellation

After cancellation, VDC Backup snapshots will no longer be available.

Service Level Rebates 

This service qualifies for rebates when unavailable under the General Terms and Conditions. If you cannot restore a VDC Backup snapshot, the following rebates apply:
