The Parties

Zettagrid and the Customer (an entity subscribing to Zettagrid cloud services) agree that by accessing Zettagrid cloud services, you ("The Customer", "you", "your") accept the terms and conditions in the Standard Form of Agreement.

What is a Service Description?

The Zettagrid Service Description details specific terms for each Zettagrid offering. It forms part of our Standard Form of Agreement (SFOA), which includes:

2. Service Description

What is a Virtual Data Centre?

A virtual data centre (VDC), or Cloud Data Centre, pools virtual computing resources (RAM, CPU, Storage, Network) into a logical unit for easy management. Each VDC can run multiple virtual appliances. Here, VDC or Service refers to all appliances included in this offering.

Zettagrid's VDC service offers a self-managed environment with an agreed allocation of CPU cores, RAM, storage, and network traffic, which you can assign to one or more virtual servers.

Traffic and Bandwidth Allocation

Your VDC may have a monthly data traffic quota or an unlimited pipe.

Both inbound and outbound internet traffic count toward your quota.

Zettagrid does not guarantee latency or bandwidth from any resource to the Internet or other endpoints.

The VDC firewall(s) are standard components. You are responsible for their configuration and maintenance.

You must secure the VDC against vulnerabilities. We may suspend your VDC if we detect a compromise and you do not act within a reasonable time after notification.

We are not liable for content, security breaches, data leaks, or malicious activity on your VDC. Zettagrid may terminate your Service and refuse refunds if you breach our Fair Usage Policy.

IP Addressing

Your service will receive one or more IP addresses, which remain Zettagrid's property and cannot be transferred outside the network. IP addresses you provide remain your property.

Service Level Target (Excluding Maintenance Windows)

99.99%

Service Level Rebates

This service qualifies for rebates when unavailable as per the General Terms and Conditions. The following apply:

Service Disruption

Service Rebate

Less than 43 minutes unavailable per calendar month.

No Rebate Available

More than 43 minutes but less than 360 minutes during a calendar month.

10% of the Monthly Service Charge

More than 360 minutes but less than 960 minutes during a calendar month.

25% of the Monthly Service Charge

More than 960 in a calendar month.

50% of the Monthly Service Charge

SLAs cover complete unavailability due to non-VDC factors, such as host power loss, storage failure, or total internet outage.

Rebates do not apply to single host failures.

Software failures, patches, vulnerabilities, inconsistencies, or incompatibilities causing VDC instability are excluded from the SLA. We recommend rebuilding your system if you experience issues with virtual appliances.

Customers are responsible for snapshots, power management, backup, and restoration or rebuilding of virtual appliances.

Snapshots older than 48 hours will be deleted automatically. For longer retention, contact Zettagrid to discuss your needs.
