Why has the charged VM count increased on my VDC Backup Subscription?

You can add more VMs to your backup jobs at any time.  Our billing model has a per-VM charge as well as a charge for the storage consumed.

To ensure we are compliant with licensing and can keep offering our service at the best price, our automation systems periodically compares the number of VMs backed up to the number of VMs paid for on each subscription and adjusts the billing if the number of VMs being backed up exceeds the number of VMs for which you are paying.  If your subscription is updated you will be notified.
