The Ethernet / LAN light is not on or is Red on my modem and I am unable to browse the internet.

The Ethernet or LAN light indicates if your modem is correctly connecting to Zettagrid. If the light is not on or is solid Red there are some steps you can take to help restore your service.

  1. Reboot/Restart your modem/router. Turn off your modem for 15 seconds and turn it back on. Give it up to 15 minutes for the modem to fully restart.

  2. Log into your Modem/Router and make sure that your settings are still present and correct. If there are no settings you will need to add them again. If your modem drops the settings regularly, you should look at replacing your modem. Check out this article for typical modem settings.
